July 1 – Move In Day!
After stripping the beds and packing the food, our toiletries, and our clothes, the boys and I went to the house so we weren’t in the way of the movers. The movers came at 9:00AM and Nevin stayed to direct them.
July 24 – Cecil County Fair
We went with the Moms Club to Children’s Day at the fair.
July 25 – Penn Township Park
July 26 – Corbin is 4 Months
Corbin rolls from his belly to his back. He squeals and screams happily. He takes a short nap around 8:30/9:00 and then another quick nap around 5:30/6:00 and one long nap around 1:00-4:00. He wakes up around 6:30am and wakes up once or twice throughout the night.
On July 27, he had a rough night in his Rock N Play. He was up 8 times that night! He kept arching his back and tossing and turning and just couldn’t get comfortable. We tried the Pack N Play the next night and he did much better. He also started taking a binky and loves chewing Sofie the Giraffe (Nolan and Spencer did not care for Sofie).
He loves laying on his back and grabbing his toes, watching TV, and watching his big brothers.
Corbin’s 4 month well child was August 7. He is 2 feet tall (4th percentile) and weighs 13 pounds, 7.2 ounces (7th percentile). I knew he was smaller than Nolan and Spencer at 4 months because he still fits in 3 month clothes and size 1 diapers and the big boys did not. Nolan was 26.5 inches (94th) and 15 pounds, 8 ounces (50th). Spencer was 25.8 inches (64th) and 15 pounds, 3.4 ounces (34th). The pediatrician said he looks amazing which is exactly what we want to hear.
The nurse came back to give him his vaccines (1 oral and 2 injections) and he did not cry for the oral (Spencer did). He cried while she was injecting the other 2 and then stopped a few seconds after she was done. I didn’t even have to nurse him after. What a trooper!
